Vacationing with kids is hard

We are back from 11 days in France.  When we told people we were heading to France with a 10 month old and a 2 year old most people thought we were nuts and maybe we are.  Traveling with young children is difficult.  I think I had mentally prepared myself  a bit better than my husband and managing expectations is a great way to make the best of a challenging situation. Plus I had the breastfeeding breaks from our overactive toddler.

That said, I haven’t been able to get back into my groove yet.   It’s been a week what gives?!?     I keep forgetting things and I haven’t made time for running which is unlike me.  I have opted for more sleep instead of early morning running  – can you blame me?  Either way I am hoping to have a lovely post of our vacation travels soon and maybe even a list of do’s and don’ts of traveling with little ones.  In the meantime, enjoy this fantastic pic of us at the Eiffiel Tower:
